    First, let me express my thanks and welcome to all of you who have come to join with us on this great occasion – the inauguration of Houghton’s Shanghai Plant.  We appreciate your interest and support.

首先，對(duì)各位今天來(lái)參加我們上海廠開(kāi)業(yè)典禮這一盛大聚會(huì)澈灼，我表示衷心的感謝和熱烈的歡迎 竞川！衷心感謝您的支持和關(guān)注！

       This day marks a new beginning for Houghton’s presence in China.  In fact, we have been active in China for nearly twenty years.  We saw early on the unfolding opportunity here for rapid growth in manufacturing as the vast China market opened up to new possibilities in the development of its economy.

今天揭開(kāi)了好富頓在中國(guó)發(fā)展的新的一頁(yè)叁熔。事實(shí)上委乌，好富頓活躍在中國(guó)市場(chǎng)上已有近20年的歷史了。我們很早就意識(shí)到荣回，隨著中國(guó)致力于振興經(jīng)濟(jì)和對(duì)外開(kāi)放遭贸，在制造業(yè)將會(huì)有很大的發(fā)展機(jī)會(huì)。

      Our business here has grown steadily, first with sales representation and later with in country manufacturing in Shenzhen and now in Shanghai.  Our supporting staff of laboratory and field engineers has kept pace and we have today a fully capable Houghton organization in China.  We are proud of our team here and all they have accomplished together to reach the milestone we are marking today.

我們?cè)谥袊?guó)的業(yè)務(wù)一直在穩(wěn)步增長(zhǎng)心软，一開(kāi)始壕吹，我們?cè)O(shè)立了銷(xiāo)售代表，其后我們?cè)谏钲谠O(shè)立生產(chǎn)廠删铃，現(xiàn)在我們又在上海設(shè)廠耳贬。我們的實(shí)驗(yàn)技術(shù)支持隊(duì)伍和現(xiàn)場(chǎng)技術(shù)應(yīng)用隊(duì)伍也在同步成長(zhǎng)。我們現(xiàn)在中國(guó)的機(jī)構(gòu)不僅功能完備而且富于競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力猎唁。我們?yōu)檫@支隊(duì)伍感到自豪咒劲，正是由于他們的辛勤工作，才使我們?nèi)〉媒裉爝@樣的顯著成績(jī)拄渣。  

       I can assure our team here that you are an important part of our worldwide program.  We have and intend to continue to provide you with the technology and training necessary to bring the best product and service that Houghton has to offer to our Chinese manufacturing customers.

       各位親愛(ài)的中國(guó)同事轴布，你們是好富頓全球大家庭中的重要一員。我們?nèi)詫⒗^續(xù)向您提供新的技術(shù)和必要培訓(xùn)浦砚，以便好富頓能向中國(guó)制造業(yè)的用戶提供最好的產(chǎn)品和最好的服務(wù)缓捂。

       Let me note briefly what we offer to our marketplace.  We offer solutions to industry – to improve productivity, to reduce fire hazards, to increase cleanliness of production and output, to inhibit the formation of rust, to inhibit the growth of bacteria in industrial fluids, to increase the quality and finish of parts and rolled metal, to expand the information and control of production processes and to do all this with a careful program to assure compliance with the best health, safety and environmental choices available for all chemistries and applications employed. 

請(qǐng)容許我這里簡(jiǎn)要介紹一下好富頓的使命。我們向工業(yè)界提供全套的解決方案----提升生產(chǎn)效率亚滑；減少火災(zāi)危害茄妇；改善工作環(huán)境；預(yù)防工件生銹还做；防止加工介質(zhì)中的細(xì)菌滋生娇裁；提高加工部件和軋制產(chǎn)品的表面質(zhì)量从秃；共享相關(guān)信息以及強(qiáng)化過(guò)程控制。需要特別指出的是荞篙，在實(shí)現(xiàn)這些目標(biāo)的同時(shí)泽衬，我們總是進(jìn)行多方仔細(xì)研究，確保我們的產(chǎn)品和應(yīng)用滿足目前最先進(jìn)的的健康殿姑，安全和環(huán)保方面的要求树碱。

These are iconic virtues for all of us who carry the Houghton banner and the measure of our success.  Our customers expect us to be the experts in our field to assist in the implementation of our solutions in their production processes.  That is what we are dedicated to doing throughout the manufacturing world and particularly today and into the future in China.

       以上這些就是好富頓的莊嚴(yán)使命，也是衡量我們是否成功的標(biāo)尺变秦。用戶期待我們能成為工藝潤(rùn)滑介質(zhì)方面的專(zhuān)家并協(xié)助改進(jìn)和優(yōu)化他們的生產(chǎn)過(guò)程成榜。這些正是我們?cè)谌蛑圃鞓I(yè)領(lǐng)域里矢志不渝所追求的，在現(xiàn)在和將來(lái)的中國(guó)蹦玫，也更會(huì)如此赎婚。  

       We recognize that to be successful in China, we need a dedicated and trained team of Chinese citizens.  We have been assiduously recruiting and training our staff here as our business has grown.  I want to thank each one of our managers and staff for your commitment to the successful performance of Houghton’s business in China. 

我們意識(shí)到，一支訓(xùn)練有素且堅(jiān)定專(zhuān)注的中國(guó)員工隊(duì)伍對(duì)好富頓在中國(guó)的成功發(fā)展至關(guān)重要樱溉。 隨著我們業(yè)務(wù)的持續(xù)增長(zhǎng)挣输，我們也在積極招聘和培訓(xùn)我們的員工。我這里要感謝好富頓中國(guó)的每一位經(jīng)理和員工福贞，感謝你們?yōu)楹酶活D的業(yè)務(wù)發(fā)展所做出的努力撩嚼。

We rely upon your training, experience, imagination and effort to carry out our mission successfully.  The creation of this beautiful plant and the demands of our customers for our products testify clearly to your capability.  Thanks for your performance until now and for your undoubted future success as well.

你們的聰明才智、創(chuàng)造力和不斷勤奮的努力挖帘，將是好富頓使命能否成功實(shí)現(xiàn)的關(guān)鍵完丽。美麗的上海工廠和用戶對(duì)我們產(chǎn)品的要求，反過(guò)來(lái)拇舀，也是對(duì)你們能力的考驗(yàn)漱屁。感謝你們的所做的一切努力，預(yù)祝你們?nèi)〉酶蟮某煽?jī)和光榮株矩。  

       We welcome our opportunity here.  We regard this inauguration as just the next step on our journey, a new beginning and a wonderful start to a new phase in Houghton’s history in China.  We know that Chinese manufacturing is destined to increase dramatically in the years ahead and we are pleased to be a participant in this very bright future.

       我們珍惜和重視我們面前的機(jī)會(huì)茧津。我們認(rèn)為，今天的開(kāi)業(yè)典禮款拣，只是我們千里之行中的重要一步，是好富頓歷史發(fā)展上的一個(gè)新的臺(tái)階和一個(gè)新的開(kāi)端拴猖。 我們相信中國(guó)制造業(yè)在未來(lái)必然會(huì)有快速的發(fā)展朋傲，我們很高興能參與其中，并共同一起迎接中國(guó)制造業(yè)的光輝明天伐蔚。
