Technical Requirements:

l University Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

l Specialization courses in Quality.

l Excellent English speaking and writing skills

l Minimum 8 years experience in Quality Management System with 

Multinational Companies.

l Be acquainted with ISO 9001 and other Quality Management Systems.

Job Description:

l Reporting to China General Manager supporting the whole Quality activity

for manufactured and sourced parts and finish goods to domestic markets 

and export markets. 

l Management of product and parts quality inspections to meet company high 

standards for domestic markets and export.

l Work out Quality Standards as well as procedures and methods for 

quality inspection. 

l Coordinate and orientate the activities related to the income inspection 

in house and at vendors sites. 

l Lead the quality inspection in all factory manufacturing operations.

l Orientate the employees about the production schedule, following up 

pending matters and setting goals, according to the management instructions;

l Orientate the workers in relation to the rules, procedures and routines; 

l Distribute the workers in the production areas and income 

inspection, outside inspection and monitor teams activity. 

l Manage customer complains. Interface with customer to understand 

complains regarding quality of products and parts source from the plant. 

Propose corrective and preventive actions. 

l Interact with Corporate Quality department to elaborate the quality 

procedures and inspection procedures. 

l Interact with other Starrett facilities which are the product leaders 

on different product categories. 

l Elaborate the quality inspection procedures define for each center 

of competence. 

l Company Administration Representative for the Quality Management 

System according to ISO 9000 standard. 

l Manage the Quality Management System certified by the ISO 9001 – 2008 

Standards. 

l Prepare the quality reports to measure the level of quality achieved by 

the plant.

l Put forward helpful solutions to improve the quality of company products

and parts.

l Work together with the engineering / purchase team to establish quality 

standard and inspection methods with suppliers. 

l Support product development activities in preparation to launch of new 

products and manufacturing operations. Support company ultimate goal of 

reduced time to market.
